Updating BIOS for my ASROCK motherboard 1.3 to 1.7 solve COD error

I found out by updating my ASROCK 4core1333-FULLHD motherboard BIOS (basic input-output system) from 1.3 to 1.7 also able to solve DirectX error for COD 4 without following the step I mention before.. Basically I don't have to change my startup setting or anything after updating the BIOS.
